LELAND SMITH

  Leland comes from a diverse background, both culturally and educationally. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Leland grew up primarily in Las Vegas. As a young adult, Leland attended Morehouse College in Atlanta. Upon pursuing a Bachelors of Arts degree in English, he was still yearning to accomplish his other goals of becoming a successful Recording Artist and Songwriter in Hip Hop. 

Leland is known for his soulful, “conscious”, and relatable songs that touch the hearts of his listeners. He has performed as the opening act for some of the industries biggest names and has also had his music syndicated in popular movies and T.V. Shows such as “The Game” on Netflix. 

Leland is currently attaining a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science at the University of Las Vegas. His Involvement in his community and having a positive impact on a “grassroots” level is extremely important to him. He currently serves as an active member of the Nevada Conservation League where he helps to preserve and enhance the well-being of Nevada’s lands. After undergrad Leland plans to attend Law School.
